What’s more fun than the collaboration of Twin Cities Fine Arts Organization (TCFAO) members? Visit Bloomington Theater and Art Center and see African Sculpture now through August 26. Curated by Rex Mhiripiri, director of Mhiripiri Gallery, the exhibition explores the beauty and diversity of African art and sculpture. The show includes works by leading contemporary African artists including Collen Madamombe and Bernard Matemera.

Don’t miss an artist talk by Rex Mhiripiri on August 18, when he will discuss the history of Zimbabwe Shona Stone Sculpture, its intrinsic beauty, and his firsthand experiences with the artists.
