Holdingford Mill has been selected as the location of a public art piece, and the City of Holdingford is taking proposals. The City of Holdingford believes that place-making is a process that fosters the creation of vital public spaces that reflect community values and express the vision of its residents. The city sees the installation of public art as a medium to mirror these ideals.
The city is accepting letters of interest from area artists who would be willing to work in partnership with the community to create a public art piece. Details and requirements for applying to this call are available at the city's website, or clicking directly to the project information PDF.
Submission deadline is September 14, 2011.
